Precautions for installation of multiple weighing sensors

2023-01-11

The use and installation of a single weighing sensor is relatively simple and can be operated directly. There are few matters needing attention, but what is used more is the combination of multiple weighing sensors. If multiple sensors are installed, there are more problems needing attention.

For example, a high-precision electronic weighing instrument rarely uses a weighing sensor, often two or three more sensors to form the sensor system, so that on the one hand is to maintain the stability of the scale itself, and on the other hand can increase the weighing tonnage.

In the electronic weighing apparatus composed of multiple weighing sensors, in addition to reasonable selection of the load of weighing sensors and correct installation, the following points should also be paid attention to:

  1. Fixed pillars and jack supports should be installed on both sides of each weighing sensor. The height of the fixed pillar should be slightly lower than the sensor height of 3mm to 4mm, so that when the sensor needs to be replaced or maintained, the scale body should be lifted by jack, and then inserted into the fixed pillar cushion iron of appropriate thickness, so that the sensor and the support separated by 4mm to 5mm, as a temporary support. On the other hand, when the scale body is overloaded, it can protect the sensor.
  2. In order to prevent the scale body from moving horizontally due to impact and other reasons, appropriate limiter should be installed according to the structure of the scale body. The limiter should not be installed in the vertical direction of any force, but can counteract the various horizontal forces acting on the scale body.
  3. The weighing sensor must be installed on the horizontal surface, and it must be kept level when there is a load, so as to avoid damage to the sensor due to uneven load distribution caused by tilt.

4. weighing weight is best between 60-70% of the range of the sensor, which can prevent the overload of the weighing sensor and extend its life. The reasonable installation of the weighing sensor directly affects the service life of the weighing sensor, which needs regular maintenance and cleaning. Inaccurate installation will not only lead to measurement error, long-term wrong use method will also lead to the use of the sensor qualitative change, reduce its service life, so the correct installation method is crucial.
